About Cameron
Cameron was born in Australia in 1973 of English parents. The family returned to England in 1981 and live in Moore, Cheshire. After attending the Byam Shaw School of Art in London from 1992 to 1995, Cameron achieved his Diploma in Fine Art.
After becoming a victim of the needless violence in today's society and the impotence of the legal system he used his hurt and anger in his earlier work as a cathartic exercise which resulted in a number of powerful images and self portraits in which he appears to be judged rather than the victim.
Since graduating Cameron has exhibited in group and solo shows in London, Prague and Berlin and many other German cities. Cameron now lives in Berlin where his work has been well received. Cameron's Berlin work continues the theme of the shadowy, taut and often under world of a busy city life.
Some of Cameron's work is currently on display at the Galerie Barbara von Stechow in Frankfurt and at the Galleri Franz Pedersen in Horsens, Denmark.
Cameron is no longer represented by the DNA Galerie in Berlin.
